No one can test rain gear better then North West sportsman.  We have the wettest weather in the United States, getting inches of rain a day and thinking nothing of it....We all know there is nothing more precious to us then our rain gear....Getting wet can end a day quicker then it began....and more time on the water means more fishing which in turn means more catching.  My last jacket....a thin black Carhartt jacket made of PVC that I paid $100 for.  No warmth included, more of a shell to help shield my warm clothes. Well after having the jacket for 6 months....with all the patching on the jacket, eventually the seems began to leak.  pretty much giving me around a 6 hour window to fish in the rain before i was soaked to the bone.  My biggest pet peeve about any jacket or upper layer for that matter, is the sleeves.  While trying to cast or tie on new tackle, sleeves always get in your way.  Well my NewReignGear jacket has sleeves that fit around your wrist perfectly, no extra slack hanging in your way. The way they are stitched shows just how reinforced these coats are.  As soon as water touches this material, it turns into tiny little droplets and rolls right off.  Even after 9 hours of fishing in the rain, my under garments were as dry as can be. Having nice water proof zipper pockets makes it sweet to stash cameras and phones to ensure dryness.  Even the inside of the jacket is sweet, fully lined in fleece, this thing is warm....I had to stop wearing one of my layers that I would normally need with my "other" rain jacket. All in all this is an amazing coat.  Warm, waterproof and it even looks good!!!!!  So if you are having any problems with your rain gear, and are looking into something else.  Give NewReignGear.com a try....guarantee you will be impressed.  I am the only one in my crew at this time that has one of these.  They are all buying one...ask them....
